Communism Killed Almost 150 Million People...

Something that has particularly bothered me lately is how fashionable communism has become. While on Facebook I remember seeing a quiz result. The quiz was about "what are your political beliefs?" This female friend's results were, "you are so liberal you could live in Stalin's backyard." She left this for everyone to see. Why would you be proud of this, and want a mass murderer on your Facebook page? Does she not know? Or does she not care? Both of which scare the hell out of me.

So next time you hear someone tell you they think Che Guevara, Mao and Stalin are harmless or cool here are some alarming statics to quote them.

Don't cry over spilt ...er...BEER.

If the Gulf of Mexico - the 7th largest body of water in the world, containing approximately 660 quadrillion gallons of water (that's 660 with 15 zeros) - was represented by Cowboys Stadium in Dallas - the largest domed stadium in the world - how would the spill stack up?

In this example, the amount of oil spilled - if the Gulf of Mexico was the size of Cowboys Stadium - would be about the size of a 24 ounce can of beer.

Cowboys stadium has an internal volume of approximately 104 million cubic feet, compared to the just over 50 cubic inches of volume in a 24-ounce can.

Just like the can, the spilled oil represents only .00000002788% of the liquid volume present in the Gulf of Mexico, although as the oil is dispersed, the amount of water affected becomes substantially greater.

We truly are the greatest culture in human history.

Kiki and US Marine Brian Chambers

Kittehs Kiki and Keykey have found a home in the midst of war. And it’s all thanks to three US Marines, Brian Chambers, Chris Berry and Aaron Shaw. They started a mission called Nowzad to help find homes for stray cats and dogs, including Kiki and Keykey, that they find while serving in Afghanistan. After finding Keykey injured by a c-wire, Berry took care of his wounds and nursed him back to health and the two of them have been best friends every since.
And now Keykey is living with Berry’s parents in Michigan while Kiki is living with Chambers’ parents in Texas and both are enjoying their new loving homes! Those Marines are definitely heroes in our book.
